Pac-10 Season Preview – Oregon

Oregon

Some could say the Ducks did not deserve to win this game. I could fall into that camp. But whatever happens, happens, of course, if the officials blow a telephone, you have to deal with this. And in Oregon’s instance, when they blow off a call from your favor, hey, are you really going to claim?

Oregon continued some huge declines in the draft last season. Last week, though, Coach Mike Bellotti was not quite sure what to make of Dixon. He’s one who could cause more matchup problems compared to a far more conventional nickname like Clemens, and conflicting defenses got a tiny rest last season once the playbook was not totally opened around for Dixon. It looks like it’s been opened up today, which assists the Ducks.

Oregon RB Jonathan Stewart is taking the รับพนันบอล majority of the features for the Ducks this season, that looks like quite a considerable upgrade over Terence Whitehead. While I liked white head being an RB, he was significantly limited; Stewart features a ceiling. Bellotti appears to be somewhat stuck in the dark ages in terms of playing with freshmen, as last season Stewart touched the ball around six days a game and averaged 8.8 yards per touch. Stewart was trashed a bit last season, though, that may account for a number of Bellotti’s reticence to play him.

From the USC program, or at the Oklahoma app, Stewart would have already been rode hard and put away wet. Maybe not true with Oregon, that made him sit just a little bit. Stewart is a gem for the Ducks, as he does not result in Texas, California or Florida; he’s from Washington, also while he had been thetwo training recruit in the country, he remained relatively close to home.

On defense, the Ducks have been required to displace a tough defensive lineman in Haloti Ngata. And whilst using a defensive tackle that way in your front could require a lot of the pressure off your defensive guards, the Ducks don’t have anybody who good to replace him. They’ve introduced LB Blair Phillips, who’s done an outstanding job in the first going, and also possess depth in their defensive backfield which makes a difference.

Naturally, if you’ve got seven guys wearing black and white on your own side, maybe not a whole lot matters about personnel match ups. But don’t count on too many more fractures for Oregon from the zebras, while the Ducks find yourself fourth in the Pac.
